Calling All Chicago Labels, Zines, etc…
HWC Inc. is helping put together a “Record/Zine/DIY Craft” fair the afternoon of Saturday June 26th at Strangelight – a DIY space housed in the Congress Theater building at 2123 N Milwaukee in Logan Square. We are looking for more vendors for the event.
A few main points for those interested:
- There will be no cost to table the event
- There will be no door cost to attend the event
- Hours of the event TBA but likely somewhere between noon and 6 pm
- If you want to table the event – you must bring your own table
- Each vendor will be asked to donate a % of their sales from the event to a charity. The % and charity is to be determined by the vendor but the charity should be shared prior to the event. I have a list of charities – mostly Chicago based – if interested but unable to find a charity.
- Press release to Chicago Publications (ie Reader, Onion, etc) planned as well as other avenues of getting the word out (posters, net, etc)
